The Blue Mountains
- New South Wales -
The majestic Blue Mountains covers an area of 10,326 Square Kilometres. Its towering escarpments form part of the Great Dividing Range that stretch over 3200km from the far North of Queensland to Victoria, separating Australia’s Eastern coastline from the expanse of the central plains and deserts. The Blue Mountains are largely populated by Eucalyptus forests, the leaves from which excrete sap that evaporates and forms a blueish haze, it’s this haze that gives the region its name.

The Outback
- Australia -
Remote, vast and unforgiving Australia’s interior is steeped in mystery with tales of heroism, survival and those not so fortunate. Though arid in many areas, the outback is anything but barren and devoid of life, the area referred to as the outback is so expansive it covers a number of climatic zones. From the tropical north, plagued by monsoons to the red sandy desserts of the centre. Every few 100km the landscape changes to reveal a new vista waiting to be explored.
